Two major airports service the Colorado Springs area, and Congress staff will be on hand at each one to assist Congress attendees with their arrival to their accommodations.

Denver International Airport [Image of Denver International Airport]

The larger of the two airports, Denver International Airport services a wide variety of airline carriers. Denver International Airport is approximately 90 minutes away from Colorado Springs. For your return trip, it is suggested that you leave 4-hours before your flight's departure time to allow time for security. The Go Congress plans to have a volunteer waiting in the baggage area of the airport from 10am - 5pm near Door 505. This is on the domestic flight baggage claim area, which is why we picked it!

The 2010 Go Congress has also contracted a group rate with a local shuttle service for people coming to UCCS from Denver International Airport. http://www.303shuttle.com is the website of our shuttle service. Their email address is aairshuttle@aol.com, and their phone number is 303-710-6367. You may sign up and pay at their website. More information can be found at http://www.flydenver.com.

Colorado Springs Airport

The Colorado Springs Airport is the smaller of the two airports but is located conveniently within Colorado Springs, and is approximately 22 minutes from the Congress. The Colorado Springs Airport supports fewer airline carriers than Denver International Airport, but the major airlines are represented.

There are only 6 baggage claim carousels. While there is generally a line of taxis waiting outside of baggage claim, we have contacted a few drivers who have particularly large taxis for you to save money! The Go Congress plans to have a volunteer waiting in the baggage claim area of the airport from 10am - 5pm. For more information about Colorado Springs Airport, visit their website at http://www.flycos.com.
